• Monitor networks for security breaches and investigate violations. • Install and operate security software to protect systems. • Conduct penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities. • Develop security standards and best practices. • Assist in disaster recovery planning. • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats. • Provide security awareness training for staff. • Respond to security incidents and provide thorough post-event analyses. • Work with SIEM tools like Splunk or QRadar. • Implement and manage firewalls and intrusion detection systems. • Prepare reports that document security breaches. • Collaborate with IT teams to enhance security posture.
